The Danger of Smoking:
The Best Way to Quit Smoking:
Most, if not all, stop smoking books will not tell you what I'm going to tell you. Fasting is one of the greatest, if not the best, ways to quit smoking. It will provide you with everything you require to stop smoking. Many of us believe we will never be able to stop smoking, yet we can. We fast in the hopes that God would provide us with the resources we require to quit for good.
To stop smoking, you should fast for three days. Three days in a row, eat only brown rice and water or carrot juice. If you can't fast for three days in a row, try fasting one day a week for three weeks, or as near as possible. This strategy can be utilized cold turkey or in conjunction with the method outlined in the last chapter of my book; nevertheless, I advocate cold turkey. This strategy will work for you if you just give it a shot.
There are alternative methods for quitting smoking. You could, for example, pray or meditate until the yearning fades. The urge to smoke will fade away.
Another suggestion I make in my book Quit Smoking the Easy Way is to: Chewing cinnamon gum is a revolutionary new way to quit smoking. Cinnamon has a unique ability to combat nicotine cravings. Aromatherapy is well-known for its healing properties. Now you know how to utilize cinnamon to stave off hunger pangs!
The ritual of forgiveness, in my opinion, is one of the most important strategies to prepare yourself for quitting smoking. When people are angry, they smoke. This has the effect of bringing the rage to the subconscious level. Here's an excerpt from the chapter The Ritual of Forgiveness in my book: "This ritual allows your heart to be free. Consider everyone who has ever done you harm. Make a mental list of everything you want to do. Invoke God or a saint in heaven to assist you in forgiving each person and understanding why you need to forgive them. Repeat this ritual every night until you've forgiven everyone.
You will find that your heart will become unburdened and you will forgive more easily. You will find that you are not only better off not smoking but that you are better off not holding resentment in your heart. Getting rid of any anger will help you to be a calmer person who is ready to quit smoking."
Your heart will become unburdened, and you will be able to forgive more easily. You'll discover that not only are you better off not smoking, but you're also better off not harboring bitterness in your heart. Getting rid of any anger can make you a calmer person who is willing to give up smoking."
